Start with the receiving destination
Identify whether the next stop is a hospital, rehabilitation provider, nursing facility or home. When hospital admission or facility care is needed, the receiving provider must independently confirm acceptance and timing before the journey is finalised.
Map the entire handover
Share the operating airline, arrival city and airport, flight number, date, accompanying person or medical escort, and a reachable contact for the arriving team. Establish who will meet the patient after the airline and border procedures, and where the handover can actually occur.
Match ground support to the assessed need
Tell us whether the patient can walk or sit, uses a wheelchair or stretcher, and whether the treating team has specified oxygen, monitoring or professional accompaniment. The local transport provider assesses the vehicle, equipment and personnel for the actual case. A regular airport pickup and a medically supported transfer are different arrangements.
Plan for arrival changes
Flight delays, changes in discharge timing abroad and receiving-facility availability can affect the local plan. Keep the airline, overseas escort, China contact and receiving destination connected to the same updated itinerary.
What an initial enquiry should contain
A useful first message gives the departure country, China arrival city and airport, expected arrival date, intended destination and a brief description of mobility or support needs. Email sensitive clinical details directly only when required for the case assessment; do not submit records on this website.
Scope of coordination
Sinoaid is a Shanghai-based China-side coordination point. The overseas departure, medical clearance, flight booking and in-flight escort are separate arrangements unless their scope is expressly confirmed. We do not promise hospital admission or access to restricted airport areas; each is decided by the responsible organisation.
